Bumpy, pointed, spongy, smooth: Explore Balboa Park through its textures during this experimental drawing workshop. Over two hours we will use the surrealist mark making technique of frottage to create drawings with parchment and graphite. All materials provided.
In the photo archives of the San Diego History Center Research Archives, one can find images of nudist robots, elephant tea parties, and flooded villages. We will explore these archives and photocopy imagery to be transformed into matte medium transfer collages. All materials provided.
